Summary

An apparatus is described to produce standardized burns of different degrees on rats by varying temperature and time of exposure. The apparatus works with great accuracy, the experiments are reproducible and the dates can be used statistically.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine Apparatur beschrieben, mit der Brandwunden verschiedener Tiefe bei kleinen Versuchstieren in vivo gesetzt werden können. Die Genauigkeit des Gerätes ermöglicht es, die Versuchsbedingungen zu reproduzieren und somit zu statistisch auswertbaren Befunden zu kommen.
