Summary
270 patients were studied who had a pneumothorax, pneumolyses or pneumoperit neum treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis. The earliest case was from 1929. Fourteen of the patients were dead at the end of the study. Carcinoma of the stomach was found in one of these. No leucemia was found.
Zusammenfassung
Es wurde ein Kollektiv von 270 Patienten untersucht, das wegen einer Kollapstherapie bei Lungentuberkulose aus diagnostischen Gründen einer erhöhten Strahlenbelastung ausgesetzt war. Die Latenzzeit betrug bis zu 37 Jahren. Von 14 bisher verstorbenen Patienten fand sich lediglich in einem Fall ein Magencarcinom, eine Leucämie konnte nicht gefunden werden.
