Summary
We present a case of desmoplastic fibroma in a child. The microscopic findings of desmoplastic fibroma of bone closely resemble that of the soft tissue desmoid tumor. Particularly, the agressive fibromatosis which occures peripherally and that proliferates to cortical bone is very similar to this tumor.
The differential diagnosis of these both tumors is very difficult. It should be based on clinical and radiographic findings.
