The analysis of the leakage reactance in a one‐phase transformer with asymmetrical disk‐type windings

Abstract

A three‐dimensional analysis of the quasistationary, magnetic leakage field of a one‐phase transformer with asymmetrical disk windings is presented. A simplified mathematical model of the transformer based on Maxwell’s equations is applied. Computational results of the leakage reactance for asymmetrical disk‐type windings are compared with the analytical ones according to Richter’s formulae.
