Abstract
Results of magnetic susceptibility and low-temperature specific heat measurements on metastable single phase samples of the peritectic alloy system Ag x Pt1−x are presented, which cover the whole range of concentration. The experimental data are discussed on the base of recent Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker-Coherent Potential (KKR-CPA) band structure calculations.
