Summary
-
1.
A method has been developed for microchromatographic analysis on ASK silica gel modified with orthophosphoric acid, through which alkylphenol conversion can be monitored in the stage of condensation of these materials with formaldehyde and ammonia in producing the multifunctional ash-containing additive INKhP-21.

2.
The optimal adsorbent is obtained by adding 1% orthophosphoric acid to the silica gel; in the chromatographic column, this provides quantitative separation of the unreacted alkylphenols and hydrocarbons from the condensation product (Mannich base).
