Conclusion

A method has been proposed for the synthesis of carboranyl four-and five-membered metallocycles containing carbon, palladium, boron and phosphorus atoms based on the exchange of cyclopalladized ligands between o-palladized N,N-diraethylbenzylamine and diphenylphosphino or diphenylphosphinomethyl derivatives of o-carborane.
