  • Published:
Journal of Applied Electrochemistry Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

A short review of the methods of preparation of magnetite anodes and the physico-chemical properties of Fe3O4 is followed by experimental results using chlorine evolution as a test reaction. Problems arising in the operation of composite magnetite-titanium structures are considered.
