Influence of impurity atoms on the temperature dependence of the electric field gradient in nontransition metals

Abstract

The temperature dependence of the quadrupole coupling constants of111CdIn,111CdSn, and120SbSn was measured by means of the perturbed angular correlation (distribution) technique. The results are discussed within a generalized model for the electric field gradient in nontransition metals.
