Abstract
A study is made of Co/Cu multilayer structures with ultrathin Co layers. Oscillations of the saturation magnetization and Curie temperature as a function of the thickness of the intermediate Cu conducting layer are observed. The behavior of the magnetization near the second-order phase transition is studied, and the critical exponents of the magnetization are determined.
