Abstract
An analysis is made of the hydrodynamic characteristics of the propagation of thermal polymerization waves in liquid media without hardening of the final polymer product. The process is described mathematically using a system of equations for the dynamics and the heat and mass transfer in a reacting liquid medium, written in the Boussinesq approximation and assuming the simplest overall polymerization reaction.
