Kinematical and dynamical considerations of muon capture by deuteron

Abstract

Variations of the capture rate spectra are studied as functions of low-energy neutron-neutron scattering parameters and of the weak-interaction constantg (u) P . The sensitivity of capture rates to the stated parameters is shown to depend on the geometry of the process considered.
