MuonicK β /K α ratios from pure elements

Abstract

K β /β α ratios of muonic X-ray spectra from 28 pure elements have been measured with Ge detectors. The correlation of these ratios with properties of the target material and positron life-times is analyzed with statistical correlation theory.
