The band structure in124Ba

  • Short Note
  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik A Atomic Nuclei

Abstract

Excited states of124Ba have been studied using the96Zr (34S,6n) reaction at 160 MeV. The yeast band is observed up to a 1π = 22+ state with a band crossing at ℏw = 0.37 MeV. Negative parity levels ate also identified.
