Levels of138Xe populated in the β-decay of138I

Abstract

The level scheme of138Xe has been elucidated byγ-γ directional correlations and coincidences followingβ-decay of138I. The138I was produced by the neutron induced fission of235U, in the online thermal fissionproduct mass-separator, OSTIS.
