Zusammenfassung

Durch Kohlenstoff- und Stickstoff-bestimmungen im Ham konnte gezeigt werden, daß Vitamin A beim Stoffwechselgesunden eine Erhöhung des Quotienten C: N bewirkt. Dieser Anstieg ist mit Wahrscheinlichkeit als Ausdruck einer Oxydationshemmung aufzufassen.
