Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine einfache und rasch auszuführende graphische Methode zur Bestimmung von Enzymaktivitäten beschrieben. Der zwischen Zeitachse und Zeit-Umsatz-Geraden gebildete Enzymwinkel α dient als Maß für eine Enzymaktivität. Mit Hilfe einer leicht zu berechnenden Systemkonstantenc kann die betreffende Aktivität in Internationalen Einheiten direkt abgelesen werden.

Summary

A simple and rapid graphic method for the evaluation of kinetic enzyme assays is described. The angle between the time axis (abseissa) and the line representing the activity is measured. Tangens α of this angle is multiplied by a constantc which can easily be calculated for each assay system. The results are obtained in International Units, i.e. µMoles/min/1000 ml.
