Zusammenfassung

Am Zustandekommen des Flush beim Carcinoidsyndrom ist wesentlich das Kallikrein-Kininsystem beteiligt, wobei das kininliberierende Enzym-Kallikrein — nicht nur in Lebermetastasen, sondern auch in beliebigen anderen Metastasen, wie z. B. in Netzmetastasen — enthalten ist.

Summary

The flush in the carcinoid syndrom is mainly produced by the kallikrein-kinin-system. The kinin liberating enzyme (kallikrein) was demonstrable not only in hepatic metastases but also in other metastases of the primary carcinoid tumor like those in the omentum.
