Conclusion
It seems to be a major advantage of the described method that standard HPLC equipment with column switching can be used. The procedure proved to be precise, accurate and specific. According to our experience with CyA determinations in more than 1,000 blood samples, this method is well suited for routine monitoring despite the necessity of sample preparation.
