Summary

Rupture of the infraspinatus muscle is rare and we have not been able to find any previous reports. We describe a case of complete rupture at the scapular insertion in a young female athlete.

La rupture du muscle sous-épineux est rare et nous n'avons pu retrouver aucune observation préalablement publiée. Nous décrivons ici un cas de rupture complète au niveau de l'insertion scapulaire survenue chez une jeune athlète de sexe féminin.
