Frequency conversion of ultrashort pulses

Abstract

Problems of frequency conversion of ultrashort pulses are discussed. Efficient frequency conversion methods with large spectral bandwidth are reviewed with special emphasis placed on dispersively compensated schemes employing phase matchable nonlinear optical crystals.
