Summary

This is a report on 7 own cases of aneurysmal bone cyst and an analysis of 344 cases from the literature, concerning this insufficiently known, evidently not neoplastic bone disease.

The clinical findings, X-rays signs, pathological anatomy as well as therapy, prognosis and differential diagnosis are discussed in detail.

Zusammenfassung

Die Arbeit berichtet über 7 eigene und 344 Fälle von aneurysmatischen Knochencysten des Schrifttums, einer in Deutschland noch nicht genügend bekannten selbständigen, offenbar nicht neoplastischen Knochenerkrankung. Klinik, röntgenologische Zeichen, pathologische Anatomie sowie Therapie, Prognose und Differentialdiagnose werden ausführlich dargelegt.
