Summary

Complications are discussed arising from the implantation of a fixateur externe. These are: loosening of pins, infection around the pin, osteomyelitis, sepsis, vascular and neural lesions, delayed healing of fractures, pseudo-arthrosis and refracture.

Zusammenfassung

Komplikationen in Zusammenhang mit und nach Implantation eines äußeren Spanners werden besprochen. Diese sind: Nagellockerung, Nagelkanalinfektionen, Weichteilinfektionen, Nagelkanalosteomyelitis, Sepsis, Nerven- und Gefäßläsionen, verzögerte Knochenbruchheilung, Pseudarthrose und Refraktur.
