  1. Herr Ulrich in Wien (Ueber Lebensrettung bei Asphyxie nach Chloroform- und Aethereinathmung. Wien 1858, Gerold) hat diese Erscheinung in 2 Fällen von Chloroformasphyxie beobachtet, in denen ihm die Lebensrettung durch das rhythmische Empordrängen der Baucheingeweide gegen das Zwerchfell gelang. Mit Recht begrüsste er sie als ein Zeichen der wiederbeginnenden arteriellen Circulation.
