Zusammenfassung

Durch fraktionierte Ammoniumsulfat-Fällung des Überstandes von Bouillon-Kulturen hämolysierender Streptokokken der Typen A/3, A/4, A/6 und A/12 konnte eine etwa sechsfache Anreicherung eines DPN-spaltenden Enzyms erzielt werden.

Die papierchromatographische Analyse des Inkubationsansatzes mit diesem Enzympräparat ergab außer dem nicht abgebauten Substrat nur NSA und ADPR. Das angereicherte Enzym kann daher als eine DPNase der Streptokokken angesprochen werden.

Diese Enzymfraktion, die ihre Aktivität bei längerer Aufbewahrung in gelöstem Zustand nicht verliert, wurde für weitere Untersuchungen zum Nachweis der Anti-DPNase in menschlichen Seren verwendet, über die in einer folgenden Mitteilung berichtet werden soll.
