Bizepssehnenruptur

Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Häufigkeit, dem Entstehungsmechanismus und der Behandlung von Bizepssehnenrupturen. Veränderte Aktivitätsmuster der Patienten beeinflussen die Indikationsstellung zur operativen Versorgung ebenso wie neue Erkenntnisse über die biomechanischen Ursachen der Bizepssehnenrupturen. Hierzu werden unsere Erfahrungen und die von uns bevorzugten Therapieschemen zur Versorgung von Bizepssehnenrupturen im proximalen und distalen Sehnenanteil vorgestellt. Die vorliegenden Ergebnisse lassen lediglich eine Tendenz erkennen, für eine statistische Beurteilung sind die betreffenden Patientenkollektive zu klein.

We examined the frequency, pathologic mechanism and treatment of rupture of the biceps brachii tendon. Changed activity patterns in our patients influence the decision on whether operative treatment is indicated as much as new findings about the biomechanical causes of ruptures of the biceps brachii tendon. We present our experience with rupture of the biceps brachii tendon in the proximal and distal parts and our preferred treatment schedules. Examination of our in results shows only a trend, as our patient population is too small for statistical analysis to yield significant findings.
