Summary

The clinical and histological findings in these AOT cases support the previous reports of this lesion.

Radiographically, these were some characteristic findings. Usually, this lesion shows a well demarcated and monolocular radiolucency, and calcified foci are scattered frequently in it. In the case of this tumor it was related to an embedded tooth, with a radiolucent lesion that extends apically from the tooth crown and involves a considerable portion of the root, or it was located interdentally without any relation to an embedded tooth. The periodontal space disappears at the tumor area. This radiographic finding offers to important sign to decide if thc tooth is in connection with the tumor.
