A fluorometric method for determining trace quantities of fluoride

  • Published:
Microchimica Acta Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

A very selective method has been developed for the determination ofμg quantities of fluoride based on the fluorescence quenching by fluoride of the zirconium-flavonol chelate. The fluorescence intensity is read at 460 nm. The reduction in fluorescence intensity caused by the fluoride is a measure of the fluoride concentration present.
