Zusammenfassung

Bericht über einen Fall mit traumatischer Karotis-Sinus Kavernosus-Fistel, die zunächst durch Muskelembolisierung erfolgreich verschlossen werden konnte, bei dem sich aber auf einer Kontrollangiographie 4 Wochen später ein arterielles Aneurysma der Carotis interna im Bereich der ursprünglich verschlossenen Fistel nachweisen ließ.

Summary

Report of a case with traumatic carotico-cavernous fistula, which initially seemed to be successfully occluded by muscle embolisation. However, control angiography performed four weeks later showed that an arterial aneurysm of the internal carotid artery had developed in the region of the original occluded fistula.
