Summary
The diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of 10 cases of diastematomyelia are reported. The cutaneous, orthopaedic, neurological, and radiological signs and symptoms are discussed and emphasized. Different embryological and physiopathological aspects are commented on.
Surgical treatment is recommended in all cases.
