Synthesis, characterization and activity of imidazolate-bridged and Schiff-base dinuclear complexes as models of Cu,Zn-SOD. A comparative study
2016, Journal of Inorganic BiochemistryCitation Excerpt :Single crystals of 3 suitable for X-ray diffraction were obtained from the filtrate of the reaction mixture upon standing in air for several days. A solution of H3salbutO [39] (0.128 g, 0.408 mmol) in 10 mL of MeOH was added dropwise to a mixture of Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O (0.306 g 0.825 mmol) and imidazol (0.028 g, 0.413 mmol) in MeOH (25 mL). The pH of the mixture was raised to 11 upon addition of KOH in methanol/H2O.
