Compounds with platinum-metal bonds: A personal account
2017, Journal of Organometallic ChemistryCitation Excerpt :Of course, there were also fundamental challenges in mastering the synthesis and understanding the bonding in and reactivity of compounds with bonds between platinum and either main group or transition elements. Several distinguished research groups have made major contributions to this field, which continues to thrive [4–22]. In the context of this special issue, it must be said that Rick Adams and his group have made many important discoveries, particularly in heteronuclear platinum cluster chemistry, over the past thirty years [23–25].
