Non-Markovian effects in an exactly soluble matter-field interaction system

Abstract

We estimate the ratio of the contribution of the non-Markovian effect to the Markovian effect for an exactly soluble quantum model of a matter-field interaction system. The result shows that this ratio can be significantly enhanced by introducing an off- resonance external field.
