On the calcualation of binding energy of excitonic molecules

Abstract

The Schrödinger-equation of the excitonic molecule system has been solved by the path integral method, in order to determine the binding energy of the excitonic molecule. Good agreement with experiment is obtained for the complexes in CuCl, Si, Ge and Cu2O (green).
