Abstract

The half-life of 194Au decay has been measured using γ-ray spectroscopy. The electron-capture (ϵ) and β+ branching ratios to the ground state of 194Pt and the photon emission probability of the 328 keV γ-ray have been deduced from a measurement of the total intensities of annihilation radiation and Pt K-x-rays.
