2017, Inorganica Chimica ActaCitation Excerpt :The XRF spectrum of copolymer 8 showed peaks due respectively to Pt Kα, P Kα, and S Kα at 9.38, 1.97 and 2.23 keV respectively (Supplementary information Fig. S5) [12]. These values are also in excellent agreement with the theoretical values [11] and confirm the presence of Pt and P in the polymer matrix. These XRF data also support the argument that the phosphine complex 8 with bis-EDOT units is incorporated intact into the copolymer.
