Abstract

A DuMond-type curved crystal spectrometer has been installed at a beam line of the isochronous cyclotron JULIC. The instrument serves for high resolution spectroscopy of X-rays and γ-rays from charged particle induced reactions. It can also be used for life time studies of excited nuclear states and for off-line work.
