Abstract

The vector analysing power, iT11, and differential cross section for the π+d→π+ pn reaction at Tπ = 228 MeV were measured in a kinematically complete experiment, using a polarized deuteron target. Results are presented for a pion angle of 85° with six proton angles between 27° and 61°. A comparison is made with theoretical calculations.
