Abstract

The ground state masses of 21O and 22O were determined from Q-value measurements of the 232Th(22Ne, 21Og.s.)232Ug.s. and 232Th(22Ne, 22Og.s.)232Ug.s. reactions. The (MA) values for 21O and 22O were found to be 9.3+0.3−0.7 MeV and 11.5+0.2−0.5 MeV, respectively. A detection method combining magnetic analysis and the ΔE-E technique is used.
