Abstract

The cross sections for the (n, n')m and (n, 2n) reactions on the target nuclei 113In and 204Pb were measured by the activation method in the neutron energy range 13 to 18 MeV. The results were compared with the predictions of compound nucleus theory. The angular momentum effects and the γ-decay of unbound states were taken into account.
