104, 106pd(p,n)104, 106Ag and Pd(p,n) spin parity and structure studies

Abstract

The neutron enhancements from 104, 106Pd(p, n)104, 106Ag have been measured from the 52+, 12+,32+, IAR in 105Ag and the 52+, 12+, IAR in 107Ag. Angular distributions from 104Pd(p, n)104Ag were measured and compared to theory. The masses of 104Ag(103.913183) and 106Ag (105.906678) were measured by direct neutron time-of-flight comparison to 89Y(p, n)89Zr. Gamma-ray spectra from 104, 106Pd(p, n, γ)104, 106Ag were measured from threshold to 1400 keV and coincidence spectra were measured to determine the level sequence in 104, 106Ag. Neutron and γ-ray enhancements and Hauser-Feshbach comparisons were used to suggest the spin and parity of energy levels.
