Abstract

The evaporation residue cross section has been measured for the 16O + 27Al system at 50, 60, 65, 70, 75 and 80 MeV bombarding energy using the time-of-flight technique. The model of Glas and Mosel is used in the analysis of the fusion cross-section data. The relative abundance of evaporation residues is compared with statistical model calculations.
