2017, Nuclear Physics ACitation Excerpt :Depth profiling and material composition studies using reactions (a) and (b) are discussed in [1990FU06,1991DU04,1991IW05,1992FA04,1992MA14,1992MA22,1994EN07,1994JA16,1994OL08,1996MI28,1996MI29,2005KU36,2010MA26,2016RE12]. For reaction (c), the dipole and quadrupole decay strengths measured in 16O(e, e′α) reactions to 12C states are discussed in [1990BU27,1992FR05,2001DE36,2008DO15]. The longitudinal polarization of positrons emitted from polarized 12N is analyzed and sets a lower limit M(W gauge boson) ≥310 GeV/c [1996AL23,1998SE04,2001TH18] for the right handed gauge boson contributing to electro-weak interaction; these results are consistent with the standard model.
