Abstract

Gamma-spectra from neutron capture in resolved resonances are measured to deduce the spins of low-lying 100Ru and 102Ru levels by application of the population-ratio method. The levels investigated are those having excitation energies up to 2.7 MeV and spin from I = 0 to I = 6. Improved information on the spectroscopy of 100Ru and 102Ru is obtained, consisting of some more precise or new, spin assignments, new allocations of γ-transitions, and new levels.
