Abstract

The 52Cr(d, p) reaction has been observed at Ed = 10.0 MeV to the first five levels of 53Cr. The data for the 32, 0.0 MeV, 12, 0.57 MeV and 52, 1.01 MeV levels are well represented by DWBA calculations. Multistep calculations, based on assumed wave functions for the 72, 1.29 and 72, 1.54 MeV levels, are found to produce good fits to the data for these levels.
