Abstract

The decay of 62Zn to 62Cu has been studied using a double-focussing iron yoke beta spectrometer for the electron and positon spectra and a Ge(Li) solid state detector for the gamma ray measurements. Energies and relative intensities were deduced from the spectra for the gamma transitions and conversion lines belonging to the decay. A level scheme for 62Cu with spin and parity assignments is given.
