Abstract

The spin of the 1082.8 keV level in 152Sm was measured as 0 by directional correlation experiments. Earlier a level at 1081 keV was assigned a spin and parity of 1± or 2+ from the decay of 152Pm. Our results indicate that either these two levels are different or the previously assigned 1081 keV ground state transition is misplaced in the decay studies of 152Pm.
