Abstract

The 165Ho(γ, xn) reaction cross section has been measured with a 100 keV bin in the range from threshold up to 23 MeV. The analysis of the yield curve is based on the least structure solution using the thick-target forward-direction bremsstrahlung spectrum. Finally, taking into account the Nilsson level scheme, the total E1 photoabsorption cross section was computed and compared with the present data and other published experimental data.
