Abstract

The negative parity resonances in the mass-4 system have been investigated in the 1p-1h approximation treating the continuum by the coupled-channel method. The observed dipole photo-reaction cross section of4He as well as the energy dependence of the phase shifts deduced from the p-3He scattering are well reproduced by the theory.
