Role of F-spin multiplets in identical band phenomena in normal deformed nuclei
2019, Nuclear Physics ACitation Excerpt :The IBs between the mirror pair nuclei emerge due to the isospin symmetry and were known to us from the beginning of nuclear physics. Similarly, the identicity has also been observed between the signature partner bands in some nuclei [12]. A complete theoretical description of IBs in both super-deformed and normal deformed (ND) shapes has been a great challenge because of the involvement of different orbitals in IB pair.
